Passport and Visas
All visitors need a valid passport and visitors from many countries also require a visa for entry into Australia. In many countries you can obtain your Business (Short Stay) visa at the same time as you purchase your airline ticket. Ask for a Business Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) for Australia. Visas are also issued at Australian Embassies and Consulates around the world. Your airline or travel agent can advise you regarding the procedures for lodgement of the visa application.

Food, Seeds and Wooden Products
Please note that Australia is an island (although a rather large one) and as such there are quarantine restrictions in place to maintain its free status with respect to many diseases and pests. Your travel agent will probably give you a pamphlet but, in brief, please do NOT bring any food items, nor any seeds, nor wooden products into the country.
